a short history of brett halland

Brett Halland grew up Ponoka, Alberta along with his fellow band mates Mark and Ian Ferguson. Although he grew up with very little musical training, Brett always was a very musically driven person. After a few unofficial lessons he taught himself everything he knows. Inspired by the heavy effect-driven bass of Muse's Chris Wolstenholme and the complex roaming styles of Rush's Geddy Lee, Brett Halland has created a unique style of bass for himself, and a signature sound in Bandolier.
